We Represent Clients Before the Illinois Department of Labor

Williams & Nickl has extensive experience in providing excellent representation for employers (typically healthcare related companies or security contractor agencies) when the Illinois Department of Labor investigates minimum wage, overtime, prevailing wage, and other employee-initiated or Department-initiated investigations arise.

We have represented clients in addressing issues at all stages of an employee’s or Department’s complaint, including litigation under the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act and Illinois Minimum Wage Law.

We also represent many clients on contract issues, including employment contracts, non-compete clauses, unfair business practices and regulatory issues. We are experienced with all types of Administrative Hearings, along with the rules of procedure under which these Departments operate, and are often able to quash an investigation or mitigate an adverse finding by the Department.
